1. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
One of the greatest romantic classics, we can all agree how dreamy Kajol’s introduction scene is. Surprisingly, the original introduction wasn’t supposed to be her beautiful poem narration describing a dreamy boyfriend. The deleted scene was supoosed to be Kajol taking steam to lighten her skin tone. Farida Jalal, her mom, adds to that saying the steam wouldn’t lighten her skin enough to make her fair like the Queen. We support the delete decision.
2. Hate Story
Vikram Bhatt’s Hate Story was the first in a series of bold, erotic thrillers directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Starring Bengali actress Paoli Dam, Gulshan Devaiya and Nikhil Dwivedi, several love-making scenes were chopped off from this first part as well as the sequels.
4. Shootout at Wadala
This ‘A’ rated movie had not only steamy scenes but also quite a few cuss words. However, despite the ‘A’ certificate, John and Kangana’s love-making scene was edited, shortened and deleted by the Censor Board.
5. Heroine
You’d be surprised to know this Madhur Bhandarkar film too was affected by the Censor Board’s scissors. Scenes with Kareena smoking were edited out in addition to a love-making scene featuring Kareena and Arjun Rampal.

6. Spectre
The deletion of this particular explicit scene makes one wonder what’s all the fuss about. It’s not like Bollywood movies don’t have kissing scenes. This installment from the James Bond series apparently was too explicit as per the Censor Board. They wanted him to kiss less and use less abusive language. Hmm….

7. FRIENDS
Originally this scene was supposed to air in October 2011 in the episode “The One Where Rachel Tells Ross”, season 8. Newlyweds Chandler and Monica are at the airport leaving for their honeymoon when they get detained by security given Chandler’s joke. "The sign says, 'no jokes about bombs,' but shouldn't the sign really say 'no bombs'?" Chandler asks. "I mean isn't that the guy we really have to worry about here? The guy with the bombs? Not the guy who jokes about his bombs. Not that I have bombs, but if I did I probably wouldn't joke about them. I'd probably want to keep that rather quiet." It was around the same time that the 9/11 tragic events occurred. The scene was thus deleted.
